Administrative Concerns

The students ideally should have CS class once a day, similar to their regular core classes. Ideally, classes would last approximately 45 minutes (with a five minute break to split up the period). Each class should begin with a short five minute recap of what was last learned in class, followed by the introduction of a new concept/command/idea or the posing of a question/problem/brain teaser related to the material being covered.

In the lower levels class time should be mostly individual, with some work in pairs. Starting with middle schools it is more likely that projects will involve more pair work or groups up to four students; this way, students will be able to complete larger-scale projects in reasonable amounts of time.
