USACityLink is one of the oldest and best-known city indexes on the World Wide Web.

The following table lists the number of regional sites listed on USACityLink, organized by state. The vast majority are sites devoted to a town or city; sites covering regions larger than a county were not included. Overall, more than 1800 individual sites were counted. Note that in 1994 there were fewer than 10 such sites, but by 1996 that number had increased to more than 600.
