Political Impact

Introduction | Informative Nonpartisan Websites | Information through e-mail | Campaign Websites | Political Interaction

Political action on the Internet takes on as many different forms as there are political websites. Each site has a different motivation for its existence that creates different methods and modes of transportation its message. Regardless of motivation or method, political action on the Internet is a movement of information. This section focuses on three main venues of political information on the Internet. It tracks campaign-sponsored sites and how popular they have become. It uncovers the importance and potential that nonpartisan web sites have on creating a nation of informed voters. And it speaks specifically to the use and ethics of e-mails as a means of contacting individuals.
