A brief site overview
The phenomenon of blogging, or online journaling, has seen exponential growth since the appearance of the first blog and the first use of that term in 1998. This explosion in the popularity of blogs has led to the emergence of a new, online source for information whose prominence is challenging established news media and traditional channels of distribution. By assuming an increasingly important role, blogging raises several ethical issues for a new generation of fully independent authors and their global audiences.

Through this website, we hope to discuss some of these issues, ranging from plagiarism to misleading information, as well as examine the impact that blogs will play in the social and political context of the current world. Finally, we would like to suggest a set of guidelines in the spirit of ethical blogging.
