Most of the rooms in the Gates Building are available to Gates faculty, staff, or students for business and academic purposes; they are not available to non-Gates residents.

Exceptions: There are 3 rooms in the basement which are not controlled by Gates; these can be booked through SCPD or the Registrar's office as follows.

PLEASE NOTE: floors 1 through 5 of the Gates Building lock off at 5:30 p.m. and all weekend; this allows elevator access to/from the basement to Gates residents only. If you are planning an event in the basement after hours and expect to need elevator access, please contact key@cs several days in advance to get a key issued.
