Gadgets


MapMyWord - a graph-based visual dictionary using Princeton's wordnet dataset. MapMyWord won Best Overall Gadget and Most Intelligent Gadget awards. MapMyWord was acquired by ThinkMap in 2007.


Stanford Event Map - a mashup showing events happening around the Stanford Campus on the offical campus map. The facebook version of this app won the Stanford Facebook App Contest 2008.

iMosaic - a mosaic engine which provides infinite zoom-in capability. Click at the image to zoom!

   - We have licensed part of this engine to RadioShack, and have created RadioShack's MyMosaic Facebook Application.
   - Also checkout Semantic Mosaic, which is a project I did for the Library of Congress for composing and navigating collections of pictures for the library.

Visualization

I developed and co-founded VocabGrapher and MapMyWord, which won Google's best overall and most intelligent awards in 2006. In spring 2007, I worked at Adobe's Advanced Technology Labs in San Jose, on a visualization project.

Internet Algorithms

I'm captivated by internet-related algorithms, particularly web mining and ranking systems. In summer 2007, I did a Software Engineering internship at Google in Mountain View, CA.
