Meeting place: Cubberley Auditorium lobby, School of Education building, Stanford University

We juggle Wednesdays from about 8pm till about 11pm in the lobby of Cubberley Auditorium in the School of Education building at Stanford University (east of the southeast corner of the Quad). Directions and a couple of maps are below. Sorry, no unicycle riding inside and no "contact juggling." Please be considerate of building residents passing through the lobby. Stay away from the decorated walls and the display cases. |

Take 101 or 280 to Palo Alto. From 101, take Embarcadero Road west toward Stanford. After you cross El Camino Real (2 miles), be in the left lane as you go by the stadium. Turn right at the first stop sign (Campus Drive). After two long blocks, turn left onto Palm Drive at the stop sign and go to the end of the road. FROM PALM DRIVE: Go to the end where Palm Drive loops around the Oval. Park just after it starts looping back out again. You're now in front of the Quad. Walk to the edge of the Quad and turn left along the front till you get to the corner of the Quad, then turn right and walk along the side of the Quad till you get almost to the far corner (couple hundred yards). The School of Education will be across the way on your left, just before the clock tower. From 280, exit onto Sand Hill Road east, going toward Stanford for roughly 1 1/2 miles. After going down the long gentle hill, turn right when you reach the first major intersection, with Junipero Serra Blvd/Alpine on your right (and Alameda de las Pulgas/Santa Cruz on the left). After that right turn, quickly get into the left lane and turn left immediately (on Junipero Serra Blvd). Then turn left 1/2 mile later at the first light (Campus Drive West). Stay on Campus Drive as it winds around the university till it gets to Roth Way. You'll find stop signs at (at least) Santa Teresa, Stockfarm Road, Panama Street, Via Ortega, a crosswalk and Roth Way. Turn right onto Roth Way and go two blocks to Palm Drive. Turn right on Palm Drive and follow the instructions from Palm Drive above. |
