As you are basking in the glow of your success, and your even greater imminent success, you receive a call from the hospital:
You've got to come down to the hospital! It's been horrible all morning long! We've had confused doctors running all over the place, with phantom beeper calls tying up the phone lines all morning. I didn't realize it until a few moments ago - I thought it was someone playing some cruel practical joke - but I think KAREL's acting up! I don't know what else has happened, but you've got to come down immediately and fix it!
When you arrive at the hospital, you see that KAREL has somehow become entrapped in an infinite loop. You immediately reset the system, and KAREL returns to normal operations. The staff at the hospital are overjoyed and you are once again lauded as a hero.
