You have decided to contract with the local hospital to develop KAREL. After much strenuous negotiating, you settle on a 20-month contract. You set to work on designing KAREL and after 12 months of whirlwind coding, your software engineers declare that they have a usable product.

You, however, are wary, and want to subject KAREL to extensive testing before officially releasing it. The problem is, you aren't making all that much money on KAREL right now, and you figure that if you test for only one month, you can start developing a competitor to LOGO sooner. On the flip side, you don't feel too confident about some of the modifications which the hospital has requested and would feel more confident with a six-month testing period instead.
