Academic:I recently graduated from Stanford University with both a B.S. degree in Mathematics and a M.S. degree in Computer Science (concentrating on Artificial Intelligence and Bio-Computation). My research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning and computational biology. My Master's thesis describes my work on genome-wide identification of protein complexes and transient interactions between them using Saccharomyces cerevisiae as a model organism. My research adviser was Professor Daphne Koller from the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Lab. For more information, download my CV.
Peer Reviewed Journal Publications:Peer Reviewed Conference Proceedings:Personal:My name is Boyko. Its letters are almost closed under alphabetical inverse: boyko -> ykbok after throwing out 'w' or some equally redundant letter nearby. I was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, where I spent the first 14 years of my life. On 09/29/1999, my family moved to the United States, where I attended high school and university. My mother is a professor of Computer Science and Engineering currently at George Washington University. My father is a freelance architect, in the State of Maine, "the way life should be". My personal interests include travel (most recently to Australia, studying the Great Barrier Reef), hiking (I was involved with the Stanford Redwood Outdoors Club), social dance, and various outdoor sports: soccer, ultimate frisbee, and triatholon.
