About SLPC

The Stanford Local Programming Contest brings together teams of three to solve algorithmic problems under time pressure. Whether you're a complete beginner to programming contests or a seasoned ICPC veteran, there's something for you at SLPC!

Historically, SLPC has been a local contest for Stanford students — often serving as the tryout for Stanford's ICPC team. This year, we're opening it up to the broader competitive programming community.

Stanford Division Prize Eligibility

The Stanford Division problem set is designed to be beginner-friendly. To keep prize competition fair, Stanford students who have attended any of the following are ineligible for Stanford Division prizes:

If you fall into any of these categories, you are still welcome to compete in the Stanford Division for fun, but you will not be eligible for prizes. We strongly encourage you to compete in the Open Division instead.

The organizers reserve the right to determine eligibility at their sole discretion.

Open Division: ICPC Regionals to North America Championship (NAC) level.

The use of AI is strictly forbidden. Claims of cheating or any suspicious activity will be investigated at our discretion.
