Azbil, a Japan-based automation company, has been developing building management systems, sensors, controllers, and AI related applications in the field for decades. We will introduce some recent AI applications in experimental and real commercial buildings. You will learn about how current AI technologies are being utilized in reality.<br><br>Bio:<br>Tasuku Imanishi is an Application Engineer at Azbil who has 10 years of experience in HVAC utilities' optimization and data analysis. He was also a research manager at the Santa Clara office of Azbil North America R&amp;D from 2014 to 2017. He earned his M.E. in Mechanical and Control Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2010.<p>Toru Kashima received his M.E. in Electrical Engineering from Keio University. He was a Visiting Scholar at the Stanford EE department from 2011 to 2013. He has abundant experience applying AI related technologies to various industrial fields: semiconductor, food, chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing, oil refinery, HVAC process, and so on.<br></p>
