Founded in November, 1998, Tencent is a leading provider of Internet value added services in China. Since its establishment, Tencent has maintained steady growth under its user-oriented operating strategies. On June 16, 2004, Tencent Holdings Limited (SEHK 700) went public on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Tencent Team will host the Tech Panel Discussion with Stanford students on November 7th, and interviews will start from the following day.

Jiefeng Cheng obatained his PhD from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2007. From 2007 to 2010, he worked as a research fellow at CUHK and Hong Kong University, respectively. Prior to joining Tencent, he was a researcher with Huawei Noah's Ark Laboratory, Hong Kong and formerly an associate professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. His research interests include social network, AI, cyber security and graph mining.

Magus Zhang (Wei Zhang) has been in the game industry for 14+ years, worked for UBisoft, Virtuos, joined Tencent in 2009.
